2022 - Innovation & 3D Printing
Happy Holidays Ornament Box
Custom box to mail 3-D printed ornaments, all designed and produced in-house. Produced using Modix Big 60 and Creality 3-D printers, Agfa JetiTauro and Kongsberg C-64. Ornament is white silk PLA, box and insert are e-flute using six colors plus white UV ink. Materials chosen with focus on recyclable, recyclable and reusable materials.
In lieu of holiday cards in 2021, we 3D printed ornaments and mailed them to our clients using custom designed, digitally printed boxes. Every part of the piece except the LED light and string was manufactured and fulfilled in-house.
Our Creative team designed the ornament to be 3-D printed in vase mode. This made the entire ornament one never-ending spiral where each layer sat 50% on the layer below it. This improved the outer appearance as there is no Z-axis seam and increased the print speed significantly. Because there were no layer changes, they were able to print these ornaments 4-5 times faster than a standard design
Our Creative team designed the box and related cut lines. Our in-house Design team created the artwork for the box and ornament tag, Our Production team printed the box art using the Agfa Jeti Tauro UV inks on both sides of an e-Flute sheet. They then ditially cut the boxes, inserts and tags using our Kongsberg C-64.
The Creative team assembled the boxes and related inserts. They added LED lights with hangers to the ornaments. Then they used wire string to secure the LARGEPRINTING.com label to the ornament and the ornament to the inside box insert.
Our Shipping department, packaged the finished boxes into recycled brown paper envelopes, labeled and mailed them via USPS.

2021 - Best in Digital
16”x16”x16’ Holiday Campaign Quad Box Retail-ready packaging
Spirit Marketing, our client, came to us with an idea to showcase 4 Holiday themed plush toys each paired with a related book. They wanted 1 box that would display each of the four holiday toy / book combinations separately in the same finished piece. The resulting box had to be packaged and shipped to Spirit clients as part of their Holiday campaign.
As a result, we needed to maximize design impact while ensuring affordable shipping and construction that maintained its visual appeal on arrival. We worked closely with Spirit to create unique scenes for each combination.
We designed a 16”x16 x16” box so that each side highlighted a different character / book combination. We designed and printed the box with character displays. This holiday campaign resulted in a multitude of orders for Spirit Marketing. Consumers can find these products on retailer shelves this year.

2020 - Best of Design
We designed and produced this product display to feature our media sample books. The display is printed double sided on cardboard and precision cut to the box design specifications specified by our Creative team. The sample books are 2" in diameter, joined by a post and feature 20 sample media that we most often use in Production.
Customers take these sample books with them all of the time. We replinish stock regularly as they are a very popular item.

Blister Packaging
The blister can be made into almost any shape like traditional cubes and sphere or custom shapes that we printe on our 3D printer. We can be your single source solution for product packaging and retail ready displays. The example shown here combines custom shape bisters with our retail ready display containers.
Shown below is a sample Blister Package made our 3D Print Lab. Our Creative Team put together this prototype for one of our customers. We printed a rectangular mold on our 3D printer and used it to vacuum form clear plastic that secured the action figure to the custom designed cardboard back.
We printed the back of the package on our large format flatbed printer and cut it to size on one of our large format routers.
Trays
We use vacuum formed trays as part of our customer product packaging solution. Vacuum forming trays offer an affordable alternative to injection molding. Custom molds can be printed on our 3D printer. Trays are great for securing smaller parts or products in custom boxes. In addition, our customers take advantage or our custom molds for the trays to create identifying marks for the objects that will be loaded in the trays - part identification, model numbers, part names, company names, logos, etc.
